These APIs typically have analgesic (pain relief), anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic (fever reduction) properties. NSAIDs work by inhibiting the production of certain enzymes called cyclooxygenases (COX), which play a critical role in the synthesis of prostaglandins (substances that cause pain, inflammation, and fever).
