Description

Polydextrose is used as a filler in food, and has texturizing and humectant properties. During the tablet pressing process, polydextrose solution is used as a binder in wet granulation, and also in the production of direct compression tablets. Polydextrose solution can also be used in combination with other materials as a film and tablet coating agent.
