Description

Myo-Inositol hexanicotinate has been used as a niacin source. Although some studies have shown it to reduce levels of serum fatty acids, other studies have shown that there is no reduction of total cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C or triglycerides. Inositol niacinate is an nicotinate conjugate of myo-inositol, an structural basis for a number of secondary messengers.
